Knitting...Quilting...and Other Handmade Goods
About Northern Shores Knitting
After years of being told that I needed to start selling my creations, I finally got the nerve and sold my first lot of knitted animals during the summer of 2020. While it was hard to say goodbye to my treasures, it made me think, "maybe I can really sell my handmade items and share my love of knitting and sewing with others."
Weeks later, Northern Shores Knitting was born.
Each item is unique and is made by me personally in a smoke-free environment using knitting needles or sewing machines. I use various fibers when knitting (wool, cotton, some man-made fibers). I always use cotton fabrics when quilting although the quilt batting may have some wool or bamboo in it. Since each item is unique, there may be imperfections in the fibers that only add to the originality of each piece.
I hope you peruse the website and find items that will bring you as much joy to own as I get making them. Also, if you see something on the website that doesn't work the way it should, please let us know.
Have a great day!
